#Chrome Extension

The GroupCRM Chrome extension connects your browser to Facebook so member requests sync to your dashboard and automation rules can run.

#Install

1. Go to app.groupcrm.co and sign in
2. During onboarding, click the link to the Chrome Web Store
3. Click Add to Chrome and confirm
4. Pin the extension: click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar, then pin GroupCRM

#How it works

The extension runs silently in the background while you are logged into Facebook in Chrome. It:

• Detects pending member requests in groups you have enabled
• Syncs member data (name, profile, membership answers) to GroupCRM
• Processes auto-approve and auto-decline rules on your behalf

GroupCRM cannot sync or automate without the extension active.

#Requirements

• Google Chrome: other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave) may work but are not officially supported
• Logged into Facebook in the same Chrome profile
• Chrome must stay open: closing Chrome stops sync until you reopen it

#Troubleshooting

#Extension not detected

1. Confirm the extension is installed and enabled in chrome://extensions
2. Refresh the GroupCRM dashboard
3. Make sure you are using Chrome, not Safari or Firefox

#Members not syncing

1. Verify the group is enabled in GroupCRM
2. Confirm you are an admin of the group on Facebook
3. Check that Chrome is open and you are logged into Facebook
4. Try clicking Sync Groups again from the Groups page

#Rules not triggering

1. Confirm the extension is active (green indicator in the toolbar)
2. Check that auto-approve criteria are configured in the group's Settings
3. New requests may take a minute to appear. Refresh the Pending Members page
