Lead Capture
GroupCRM reads membership question answers and extracts contact information automatically, without manual copy-pasting.
How it works
When a member submits a join request, GroupCRM scans their answers for:
- Email addresses: detected via pattern matching
- Phone numbers: detected in various formats
Extracted data appears on the member's profile in your dashboard and is included in exports and webhook payloads.
View captured leads
- Go to Members → Leads in the dashboard
- Filter by group, date, or whether an email was found
- Click a member to see their full answers and extracted contact info
Improve capture rates
Facebook Groups often ask "What's your email?" as a membership question. To maximize capture:
- Add a dedicated email question to your group's membership questions
- Phrase it clearly: "What is your best email address?"
- Enable Require email in auto-approve rules so only members with emails get approved
Export leads
Captured leads flow to connected integrations automatically:
- Google Sheets: every approved member's row includes email and phone columns. See Google Sheets.
- Webhooks: lead data is included in the JSON payload. See Webhooks.
