Auto-Approve Members#
Set criteria once and GroupCRM approves or declines member requests automatically — no manual review needed.
Open group settings#
- Go to Groups in the dashboard
- Enable the group you want to automate
- Click Settings next to the group
- Open the Autoapprove tab
Approval criteria#
Configure any combination of these rules:
| Rule | What it does |
|---|---|
| Require email | Only approve members who provide an email in their answers |
| Require all questions answered | Member must answer every membership question |
| Keyword matching | Approve if answers contain specific words (e.g. "yes", your brand name) |
| Minimum answer length | Require detailed responses above a character count |
Auto-decline criteria#
Set rules to automatically decline requests that do not meet your standards:
- Missing required answers
- Answers containing spam keywords
- Profiles that fail your criteria
Declined members can optionally receive an automated decline message. See Welcome Messages.
Tips#
- Start with one strict rule (e.g. require email) and loosen as needed
- Use keyword matching to filter for engaged members who mention how they found you
- Check the Pending Members page to review requests before enabling full automation
